This weekend's plan include picking up the new blinds in my bedroom. All part of the "hell froze over in February which meant house repairs/remodeling so why the hell not continue with other parts of the house" plan.
tbh, we had already started on some of the bedrooms - repainting, converting one to an office, etc. because of the wfh situation of 2020. and I had already been trying to figure out whether to start remodeling with my bathroom or the kitchen when the freeze happened, pipes burst, and major mess ensued. The bathroom got hit worse, so the major remodel starts there. The kitchen gets a start on the refresh at least, and we'll see where it goes after that.
Anyhoo, the delay in painting my bedroom was me dithering on the color selection. I'm "picking out paint color" challenged. I see what I want it to look like in my head, I buy the paint in the color I see in my head, and the reality ends up being something else. But the room got painted, it looks not only good but right, and now it's new blinds and decor time. Can't wait until we get to the install new flooring time.
