Don't even know where I'm going with this, but I need somewhere to do brain dumps, so here I am. Again. Every few years or so I've attempted to start writing/blogging/journaling again, and it pretty much lasts for the one post I make somewhere around New Year's. And then the next time I think about it, I go in and hide any old posts. Just like I've done again now.
September 2021. Still trying to get my shit together. Pretty sure it's a life-long process.
And...facebook just popped up my memories notification. Years ago on this date, I apparently posted a quote by Robert Frost - "The best way out is always through." Yeah, trying to take shortcuts to get through something almost always backfires and makes me take more steps backwards before I can move forward again. Apt reminder for the frame of mind I'm in today.
